Buying a new PC can be a confusing time especially if buying from PC world and they are trying to sell you there latest virus software package and Microsoft Office package.  Bootup PC can take all that stress away for you if you buy your PC or Laptop through us.  However regarding the software needed I would be so bold as to say that home users

NEVER HAVE TO BUY SOFTWARE!

Business users may have need to have more professional products and the free versions may not be adequate or licensed to use commercially but home users should be fine with free versions.  I have listed the main programs below that a home user may need and provided links to more information about that product.

Free office program capable and in my opinion the best free replacement for Microsoft Office.
